Leticia B. Villaespin, 79, passed away Friday afternoon, August 27, 2021, following an extended illness.
She was born in Himamaylan Negros Occidental, Philippines, on Oct. 14, 1941, to Valentin and Maria (Bautista) Baguio, both parents preceded her in death. She married Dionisio Divinagracia, he preceded her in death, she then married Cesar Villaespin, he preceded her in death.
Leticia worked 38 years as a Treasures Assistant for the Government in the Philippines, retiring in 2006. She attended Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton. Leticia enjoyed singing, reading her Bible, spending time with her family, and will be remembered for always having a positive attitude.
Survivors include her children; Hope (David) Myers of Bluffton, Grace Benitez of California and Jay Villaespin, eight grandchildren; Divine Grace, Encar Marie, Kezia, Seth, Don, Amber, Isabella and Samantha, one brother; Nidoro Baguio, two sisters; Lilia Tapic and Lolita Bunda.
In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by six sisters.
Per Leticia's request, there are no public services being held. Private family services will be held at a later date in the Philippines.
Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton has been entrusted with arrangements.
