Lawrence H. Dubach, 81, of Bluffton, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Lawrence was born Feb. 4, 1933, in Wells County to Harold Dubach and Ora M. (Mathys) Weikel. He married Lois Jean Wagner June 27, 1956, in Markle; she survives. Lawrence graduated from Petroleum High School in 1951. He was a lifelong Wells County farmer and was a member of the Living Water United Church and the American Legion Post 111 of Bluffton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict from 1953 to 1955 in the military police. He loved traveling to Texas every winter since 1982, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Tami (Chris) Jones of Bluffton, (Toni) Matt Junk of Bluffton; three grandchildren, Colton Jones, Emilee Junk, and Dylan Junk; and a sister, Dorothy Napier of Bluffton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lola Koenig in 1991. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 27, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Clark Stoller officiating. Calling hours are from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, and Friday one hour before the service. Military honors will be conducted by the Army, along with the American Legion Post 111 of Bluffton.
