Lance W. Pfister, 27, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013. Born in Bluffton, IN, on June 16, 1986, to Courtney and Jodi (Gerber) Pfister, Lance attended the Apostolic Christian Church. A 2005 graduate of Bluffton High School, he later attended Purdue University. Lance worked for Edge Manufacturing in Bluffton and had a passion for farming, especially planting beans. He had a tender and expressing heart for people and also enjoyed spending time with his cousin Tony. In addition to his parents, Lance is survived by two brothers, Spencer (Breanna) Pfister and Ty Pfister, both of Bluffton; and grandparents, Ted and Rose Pfister of Bluffton, Arlen and Jeanne Gerber of Decatur, and Susan Wells of Hartford City. Services will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., at the Apostolic Christian Church East, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Additional visitation will be Monday, September 16, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel and Tuesday, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Mark Gerber and John Reinhard will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Apostolic Christian Cemetery. In lieu of floral tributes, memorial gifts may be given to Loving Shepherd Ministries - CRP (Cancer Redemption Project), with "In Memory of Lance" written in the memo line of the contribution.
