Kevin W. Steffen, 52, of Bluffton, died at 1:49 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 26, 1959, in Wells County, to Willis W. and Bonnie (Andrews) Steffen. He married Beverly Napier on June 22, 2002, in Wells County; she survives. A 1977 graduate of Bluffton High School, Kevin retired from Fleetwood in Decatur after 25 years service. He and his wife own Pines Mobile Home Park/Steffen Rentals in Bluffton. Kevin first and foremost loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved his pet chihuahuas, fishing, and going to his cousin's cabin in southern Indiana. He put a lot of pride and joy into everything, especially his rental business. Other surviving relatives include two sons, Joshua Eltzroth of Ohio and Tyson Terhune of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one daughter, Andrea (Derek) Graham of Bluffton; two brothers, Terry (Lynn) Steffen of Merced, Calif., and Bruce Steffen of Morton, Ill.; one sister, Judith Wilson of Fort Wayne; his mother-in-law, Dorothy (Dubach) Napier; one sister-in-law, Terri (Jack) Blair of Ossian; nine grandchildren; four nephews and one niece. Calling hours will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, and from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Miller of the Bluffton First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, in Bluffton. Preferred memorials are to the family.
