Kendis K. King, 62, of Bluffton, passed away early Sunday morning, Feb. 19, 2017, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

Kendis was Born in Bluffton on Oct. 4, 1954, to Karl K. and Cleora J. (Sliger) King.  Both parents preceded him in death.

A 1973 graduate of Norwell High School, he worked at the Keebler Company in Bluffton for over 20 years.  He enjoyed garden tractor-pulling and spending time playing with his grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeanie (Rod) Kernstein and Elisabeth (Lee) Cutshall, both of Bluffton; two sons, Nicholas (Megan) King of Huntertown, and Matthew (Kathy) King of Alabama; 25 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Kendis was preceded in death by a brother, Barry E. King.

A memorial service to celebrate Kendis' life will be on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at 3:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with visitation from noon until service time at the funeral home.  Pastor Jody Mounsey will officiate.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
