Kathy Wible, 75, of Bluffton, passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 11, 2018, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

Kathy was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on April 10, 1942, to William Joseph and Cloyde Elizabeth (Smith) Evans.

Kathy graduated from Holy Family High School in 1960 in Glendale, California. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards and games.  She also loved reading her bible and being involved with her bible study, until her health forced her to move into Assisted Living at River Terrace Retirement Community in December of 2014.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. She attended Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at River Terrace Retirement Community, who provided great care for Kathy.

Survivors include a daughter, Julie (Ken) Myers of Bluffton; a son, Richard (Becky) Wible of Decatur; a brother, William "Bill" Evans of Glendale, California; a sister, Sue Hildebrant of Chesterfield; six grandchildren, Dan Wible of Bluffton, Alena White of San Francisco, California, Joey Coty of Bluffton, Joann Walters, Sierra Wible, and Tighe Wible, all of Decatur; four great-grandchildren, Destiny, Cortana, Evelyn and Amyrilin.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by four sisters, Jean Clark, Carol Burns, Wilma Evans and Marie Mash; and an infant son, Steven Michael Wible.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at 6:00 PM, at Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.  Pastor Gary Aupperle will officiate.

Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
