Karen K. Sullivan, 65, died at 9:28 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, Ky. She was born in Bluffton on July 27, 1944 to Benjamin and Rena Mae (Watters) Soper. She graduated from Ball State University and worked as a teacher. She was a lifetime Wells County resident and a member of Liberty Center United Methodist Church. Surviving relatives include one son, Mark (Brenda) Sullivan of Upland; one daughter, Vicky (Chris) Hadley of Union, Ky.; one brother, Floyd (Janice) Soper of Liberty Center; and four grandchildren, Brooke Sullivan, Conner Hadley, Charlie Hadley and Carly Hadley. Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Elm Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Bard officiating. Preferred memorials are to St. Elizabeth Hospice, care of the Goodwin Memorial Chapel.
