Karen Kay Neuenschwander, 53, of Bluffton, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014, at 5:36 P.M., at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born on April 15, 1960, in Huntington, IN, Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. (Douglas) Heck. She married Kenneth W. Neuenschwander in Warren, IN, on April 30, 1988, he survives. Karen worked at Fleetwood in Decatur for 21 years and currently had been employed with McHenry Manufacturing in Bluffton. She enjoyed cooking, decorating, shopping, gardening, and taking pictures. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandson. "Karen will be loved and missed by many." In addition to her husband, Karen is also survived by two sons, Rickie Dean (Amy) Douglas of Bluffton, IN, and Nicholas (Beth) Neuenschwander of Roanoke, IN; two daughters, Katie Lynn Neuenschwander (fiancé Jackson Truex) of Vera Cruz, IN, and Ashley (Daniel) Cole of Houston, TX; one grandson, Ryder Dean Douglas; one brother, Don (Jeri) Douglas of Warren, IN,; and a sister, Michelle Runyan of Huntington, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014, from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 13, at 11:00 A.M., at the funeral home, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Larry Sprinkle will be officiating.
