Karen K. LaFollette, 66, a former resident of Bluffton, died at 9:55 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Wabash. She was born Sept. 29, 1946, at Bluffton, to Ralph R. LaFollette and Virginia Fenton LaFollette. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include three brothers, Ralph R. LaFollette and Michael L. LaFollette, both of Huntington, and Lynn LaFollette of Columbia City, and three sisters, Jo (Allen) Ellison of Montpelier, Aletha LaFollette of Auburn, and Marion (Randy) McCoin of Hartford City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James LaFollette, and a sister, Rose Marie Mirador. Burial will be at the Fiarview Cemetery in Bluffton, with graveside services planned at a later date. A memorial service will be held at the Upland United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8, with lunch preceded the service at the church.
