Karen S. Karwoski, 56, a resident of rural BLuffton, died at 9:21 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center. She was the office manager at the Metropolitan Title Co. in Bluffton. She was the president of the John W. Carnall and Sons Company for 27 years. She was a 1977 graduate of Bluffton High School and a 1981 graduate of Ball State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Bluffton where she served on the Consistory. She also served as the president of the Consistory. She was active in the church choir and was presently serving on the church's Board of Christian Education. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also active in the Bluffton Middle School and Bluffton High School swim programs. She served on the Indiana Swimming Board and was involved in the Wells County Swim Team. She was a member of the Junior Achievement board and was a classroom participant. She was born Oct. 3, 1958, in Decatur, Ill., to David G. Park and Mary Jane Minnich Park. She married Don R. Karwoski May 26, 1984, in Bluffton; her husband survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ben (Emily) Karwoski of Virginia Beach, Va., and Adam Karwoski of Bluffton, and a brother, Kent Park of Bluffton. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at the Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bryson Bell officiating. Burial will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery. Calling will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at the funeral home; there will be additional calling one hour prior to the service. Preferred memorials are to the First Reformed Church of Bluffton or to the Daughters of the American Revolution
