Karen "Christine" Fuller, 68, rural Markle, died at 8:34 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Meadowvale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bluffton. Born on March 5, 1943 in Eaton to James R. and Martha E. (Schmidt) Roberts, she married Hurb Fuller in April 1993 in Bluffton; he survives. A 1961 graduate of Eaton High School, she retired from Peyton's Northern in Bluffton. She was active in the Pulse Opera House in Warren and enjoyed gardening, crafts and art. Other survivors include two daughters, Karen Boots of Lafayette and Rebecca (Tim) Alford of New Castle; three sons, Donn (Tina) Boots of Hartford City, James Boots of Hartford City, and Matt Boots of Bluffton; two brothers, Jerry (Barbara) Roberts of Wichita, Kan. and Mike (Tina) Roberts of Albany; two sisters, Roberta Bowlds of Rockvale, Tenn. and Marjorie Cox of Columbia, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Roberts. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Goodwin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Scott Nedberg officiating. Calling hours there are Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wed. for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Mossburg Cemetery.
