June A. Lopez, 78, of Bluffton, passed away Friday evening, July 3, 2015, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Born on June 23, 1937, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Leland H. and Edna L. (Murray) Kay, June married Oscar Lopez on Jan. 12, 1957, in Grabil, IN; he survives. June had attended South Side and Elmhurst High Schools, and later retired from General Electric after over 31 years of service in the aircraft division. She was a member of the Petroleum United Methodist Church and JT5 Homemakers Club. Aside from her husband, June is survived by four daughters, Celia Ann Lopez of Fort Wayne, Angelica M. Lopez of Boca Raton, FL, Monica C. Lopez of Monticello, and Veronica A. Lopez of Albuquerque, NM; two sons, Randy (Mary) Lopez and Daniel E. Lopez, both of Fort Wayne; a brother, Robert L. Kay of New Haven; along with seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, along with a daughter, Leticia Lopez; a son, Jeffrey Lopez; a brother, Walter Kay; two sisters, Mary K. Kay and Marilyn Lyons; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015, from 2:00 until 8:00 PM, at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, 3220 East State Road 124, Bluffton, IN. Services will be held Wednesday, July 8, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Marlene Ellis will officiate. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton. Preferred memorials may be given to the family.
