Judith "Judy" Ann Huss, 68, of Bluffton, passed away at 9:55 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at Visiting Nurse in Fort Wayne. She was born Oct. 21, 1944, in Wells County to Joseph "Joe" L. Shady and Mary Harshman Shady. She married Douglas L. Huss Nov. 16, 1979, in Bluffton; he survives. She was a CNA for 30 years locally at Meadowvale Health Care, Markle Health Care and Christian Care Retirement Community. Judy loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Additional survivors include a daughter, Kim (Steve) Hatfield of Bluffton; a son, Joe Huss of Bluffton; a brother, Maurice (Kay) Shady of Huntertown; a step-daughter, Meredith McCarter of Celina, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey S. Huss; two step daughters, Stephanie Huss and Angela McHenry; and one brother, Richard Shady. Private family services will be held. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel.
