Juanita K. Munson, 93, of Craigville, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Markle Healthand Rehabilitation in Markle.
She was born in Adams County on Sept. 26, 1923, to David D. and Fannie Huser Habegger. She married Charles Perry Munson in Craigville on Nov. 22, 1945; he preceded her in death in March 1995.
A graduate of Monroe High School, Juanita retired in 1982 from Franklin Electric in Bluffton after 28 years of service in the office. She also worked for General Electric in Fort Wayne and Decatur. She was a member of Lancaster Chapel and the 25 Years Club at Franklin Electric.
She is survived by a son, Max E. Munson of Craigville; two stepchildren, Jean Brickley and Ruby (Bill) Huggins, both of Topeka, Kan.; four grandchildren, Chadd Munson, Heather (Brad) Holloway, Hollie (Randy) Sonderhouse and Marc (Lisa) Munson; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Rodney Munson; a stepson, Rex Munson; two brothers, Eldon and Vilas Habegger; and two sisters, Mildred Ellsworth and Dorothy Lamb.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 16, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with Pastor Denny Leinbach officiating. Memorial gathering will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton.
