Joseph H. Gerber, 74, of Auburn and formerly of Bluffton, passed away Friday, Apr. 6, 2018, at his residence.

Joseph was born in Bluffton, IN, on Aug. 6, 1943, to Henry and Ada (Heyerly) Gerber; both parents preceded him in death.  He was a 1961 graduate of Bluffton High School.

Survivors include two daughters, Tina (David) Gaddini of Hebron, IL, and Mariah (Matt) Hartman of Bluffton; a son, Mitchell "Mitch" Gerber of Ft. Wayne; four grandchildren; and six sisters, Gladys J. Gerber, Susan (John) Kipfer, Virginia Gerber, Martha (Rex) Gentis, and Marcella Dillman, all of Bluffton, and Rosemary Hegerfeld of Roanoke.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, Apr. 10, 2018, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton with burial to follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
