Jonathan "Jon" R. Hilliard, 53, of Edwardsburg, MI, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, in Toledo, OH.

Jon was born in Portland, IN, on June 20, 1972, to Kenneth "Ken" M. and Sherry E. (Brown) Hilliard.  His mother survives in Bluffton.  Jon married Nicole Rauch in Decatur on Jan. 13, 2017.  She preceded him in death on Nov. 28, 2024.

Jon graduated from Jay County High School in 1990 and attended Bryant Wesleyan Church.  He was a long-time truck driver and worked for several different companies.  His hobbies included mushroom hunting and deer hunting, and he also loved to fish.

In addition to his mother, Jon is survived by a son, Michael Hilliard of Evansville; a sister, Lora (Denny) Lough of Huntington; two nieces, Madison Lough and Olivia Lough; and a nephew, Tyler Lough.

Jon was preceded in death by his wife and father.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at the Bryant Wesleyan Church, 209 S. Hendricks St., Bryant, IN, with one hour of visitation prior to the service.

Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
