John H. Dillon, 68, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019 at Markle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Markle, IN

John was born on June 9, 1951 in Viper, KY to Guy and Mollie (Williams) Dillon, both parents preceded  him in death.  He was a 1971 graduate of Delice High School, following graduation John worked at Sterling Casting in Bluffton, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Bluffton.

John enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, wood working, repairing bicycles, attending car shows, collecting model cars and painting and drawing.

He married Sally J. (Davis) in Bluffton, IN on August 7, 1982, she survives in Bluffton,IN

John is also survived by a daughter;   Lisa S. Dillon of Bluffton, four sisters; Chapple Lewis of Lexington, KY, Faye Dillon of Viper, KY, Norma Jean Kerns of Lexington, KY and Bonnie Lou Roark of Lexington, KY, three brothers; Dan (Donna) Dillon of Viper, KY, Sunnie Dillon of Lexington, KY and Ed Dillon of Lexington, KY.

John was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister; Annette Youcm and 1 brother; Dempsey Dillon.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, Pastor Lyle Breeding will be officiating services.

Visitation will be held on Monday 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
