John M. DeHoff, 68, passed away Sunday afternoon, Sept. 4, 2022, at Envive Healthcare in Berne, IN, following an extended illness.

He was born in Portland, IN. on Sept. 14, 1953, to Max H. and R. Jean (Callahan) DeHoff, both parents preceded him in death.

John graduated from Portland High School in 1971. He worked for Red Gold Geneva Facility, retiring in 2021. John was very talented and enjoyed working with his hands and fixing motorcycles.

He is survived by three sisters; Beth Tudor of Bluffton, Karen (William) Bost of Portland and Sue Slefinger of Maine. John was preceded in death by a brother, Steve DeHoff.

In accordance with John's wishes, there will be no public services. Private family burial will take place at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bryant, IN.
