Jody was born in Huntington, IN, on March 16, 1950, to Clyde E. and Helen (Woods) Hoover.  Her mother survives in Warren.  Jody married Richard "Dick" Feldheiser, her loving husband and caregiver, on May 7, 1985, in Monterey, CA; he survives.

A 1968 graduate of Huntington North High School, Jody had attended IPFW.  She was a member of St. Luke Church, Decatur, IN.

Jody worked for Lincoln National Life Insurance Company for over 33 years and then Physicians Health Plan for 13 years, until her retirement on March 31, 2015.

She will be remembered for being an avid Norwell High School sports fan along with IU and Butler University, but kept her Lord Almighty in the forefront first and always.

In addition to her husband and mother, Jody is survived by her son, whom she adored beyond words, Jamie (fiancé Katelyn) Feldheiser of Ossian; a brother, Roger (Vickie) Hoover of Huntington; two sisters, Margaret (Jack) Bentley of Warren and Jane Hoover-Hitzfield of Ossian; along with an abundant of loving and caring close friends in the community.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016, from 12:00 until 7:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, 3220 East State Road 124, Bluffton, IN.  A funeral service to celebrate Jody's life will be held Monday, March 7, at 11:00 AM, at St. Luke Church, 4960 West 100 North, Decatur, IN, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.  Pastor Mike Wertenberger will officiate.  A private burial will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ossian.

Memorial contributions in Jody's memory may be given to St. Luke Church Youth Fund.
