Janice L. Brown, 79, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 13, 2016, at the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

Born on Dec. 6, 1936, in Blackford County, to Howard F. and Fern G. (Grow) McClish, Janice married Richard L. Brown on July 10, 1955, in Gas City; he survives.

Janice is survived by two daughters, Dixie (Mark) Barley of Ossian, and Linda (John) Hayden of Bluffton; two brothers, John McClish of Uvalde, TX, and James McClish of Lovington, NM; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine Willyard and Katherine Robbins.

Private family services are being held.  Burial will be at Horeb Cemetery.  Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
