JANET R. RIPPLE, 82, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, April 13, 2015, 8:50 a.m., at Saint Anne home, Fort Wayne. Born Sept. 4, 1932, in Wells County, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Harry S. Faus and Mary L. (Archbold) Faus. She married Russell A. Ripple on Oct. 21, 1950, in Bluffton, Ind.; he preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2007. She was a homemaker and clerk at Keltch Pharmacy, Ossian, for many years. She was a 1950 graduate of Lancaster High School and member of Ossian Church of the Nazarene and Ossian Dime Store Bowling Team for years. She enjoyed boating, raising horses and traveling. "She was one great mom." Surviving are her children, Daniel R. Ripple, David A. Ripple and Douglas E. (Rose) Ripple, all of Fort Wayne; sisters-in-law, Sandy Faus and Carolyn Faus, both of Bluffton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Coppess of Decatur and Marie (Calvin) Wygant of Bluffton. She was also preceded in death by eight brothers, Basil, Harry Jr., Brooks, bob, Max, Dean, Gene, and Don Faus; and three sisters, Pauline Ripple, Maxine Cook and Betty Graham. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, Bluffton, with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Pastor Bob Miller officiating.
