Jane A. Simon, age 76, a long time Liberty Center resident and current resident of Bluffton, passed away Tuesday evening, Sept. 20, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Born in Bluffton, IN, on Aug. 11, 1940, to Robert and Doris (Terhune) Williams, Jane married Gene E. Simon in Poneto on Sept. 16, 1961; he survives.

Jane was a graduate of Bluffton High School and retired from Bluffton Regional Medical Center after over 25 years of service.

In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by two daughters, Kelli Simon and Jodi (Thomas) Campbell, both of Ft. Wayne; a son, Ricky (Jennifer) Simon of Batesville; seven grandchildren, Gage Schiebel-Simon, Scott Campbell, Trevor Campbell, Landon Campbell, Mitchell Campbell, Jacob Simon, and Macy Simon; a great-granddaughter, Skylar Campbell; a sister, Janet (John) Bohr of Oakland, Arkansas; and two brothers, Robert (Linda) Williams and David (Teresa) Williams, both of Bluffton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family services are being held with Pastor Troy Drayer officiating.  Burial will be at Mossburg Cemetery in Wells County.
