James L. Klosterman Jr., 71, formally of Warren, IN passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 26, 2023, at River Terrace Retirement Community in Bluffton.

James was born on Nov. 13, 1952, in Lima, OH to James L. and Rose Mary (Roth) Klosterman Sr., both parents preceded him in death.  He worked for Franklin Electric in Bluffton for several years, later retiring from Dana Corperation in Marion, IN. James enjoyed playing cards, woodworking, camping spending time with his grandchildren and volunteering with the Red Cross, where he was involved with giving aid to the residents of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.

Survivors include his children, Amanda (Robert) Rankin of Bluffton and James "Jason" (Patricia) Klosterman of Bossier City, LA, four sisters; Kathy Metzger of Wapakoneta,OH, Linda Kuhn of Lima, OH, Barbara Kwiecinski of Lima, OH and Patty Kelley of Wapakoneta, OH, and four grandchildren.

Receiving of friends and family will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Immediately following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Clark Stoller will officiate. A private burial of cremains will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton.
