Irvin Jay "Boonie" Miller, 57, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 7, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne following an extended illness.

Jay was born in Bluffton on March 30, 1967, to Jerry L. and Judy A. (Stout) Miller, both parents preceded him in death. He attended Bluffton High School, worked for Hulcher Services in Bluffton, was a farmer and raised dairy cows. He enjoyed coon hunting, he was active with the Wells County 4-H Association showing cattle and horses. He especially enjoyed spending time with his many nieces and nephews.

Jay is survived by two sisters; Jill (Jim) Jacobs of Montpelier and Emma Rose Miller of Ossian, IN, and a brother; Austin J. (Jenna) Miller of Poneto, three nieces and nephews; Macey, Maddy and Brant Mechling along with great nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Jay's wishes, there will be no public services at this time. Burial will take place at Six Mile Cemetery at a later date.
