Hubert G. Isch, 85, of Bluffton, went to be with his Lord Saturday evening, May 10, 2014, at 9:30 P.M., at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Born on September 28, 1928, in Adams County, to Joe R. and Minnie (Aeschliman) Isch, Hubert married Judy Ringger in Bluffton, IN, on August 24, 1969; she survives. Hubert was a graduate of Adams Central High School and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1953. Hubert loved his Lord and family and was a lifelong farmer. Aside from his wife, Hubert is survived by one daughter, Mary Jo (Kent) Gilliom of Bluffton; two sons, Doug (Tonia) Isch and Greg (Katie) Isch, both of Bluffton; and fifteen grandchildren, Connor, Koby, Breckin, and Liam Gilliom, and Ryan, Sophie, Maddie, Ellie, Carter, Kayla, Calvin, Lauren, Josie, Jada, and Thomas Isch. Also surviving is one brother, Kenneth (Carolyne) Isch of Bluffton; and four sisters, Lucile Frauhiger, Irene Neuenschwander, and Betty (Bill) Longenberger, all of Bluffton, and Viola Gerber of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Hubert was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ervin Isch, Walter Isch, Alvin Isch, and Glen Isch; and one sister, Mildred Krill. Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday, May 13, from 1:00 until 8:00 P.M., all at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 10:30 A.M., at the Apostolic Christian Church East, with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery. Preferred memorials can be made to Loving Shepherd Ministries - Redemption Legacy Fund.
