Holly B. Gerber, 67, of Bluffton, died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Gerber was born on Dec. 5, 1944, in Chicago, to G. Ralph Martin and Dorothy Rhoades. She married Cary J. Gerber on June 30, 1990 in Bluffton; he survives. A 1963 graduate of Morton High School, Mrs. Gerber was a housewife. Other surviving relatives include two daughters, Janice L. Lehman and Lisa M. (Daren) Black, both of Decatur; one son, Todd L. (April) Couch of Tulsa, Okla., two stepsons, Jerry W. Gerber of Bluffton and Cary N. (Carla) Gerber of Fort Wayne; one brother, Ralph G. (Pam) Martin of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Jean Martin of Oregon; and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Gerber was also preceded in death by one brother, Rod Martin; and one sister, Sue Furguson. Calling hours will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at the funeral home with Ron Kipfer officiating. Burial is at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
