Harry was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church and was involved with the Wells County Food Bank. He enjoyed spending time with his potluck group, "Happy Hour Circle", but most of all, he will be remembered as an awesome grandpa who, above all else, enjoyed spending time with his family.

Aside from his wife and parents, Harry was preceded in death by three brothers, infant Lewis Tobias Steffen, Elmer Steffen, and infant Billy Joe Steffen; five sisters, Norma Eisenmann, Velma Fulkerson, Lucille Borror, Hilda Robinson, and Mary Anne Kaehr; and a great-granddaughter, Marissa Frauhiger.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and health restrictions in our community, private family services are being held at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, officiated by Mark Gerber and Kole Meyer. Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Bluffton.
