Harold G. Lesh, 88, of Bluffton,passed away Dec. 21, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.Harold was born June 4, 1925, in Rockcreek Township to Dwight and Lela Gilbert Lesh. He married Barbra Barrick Lesh April 21, 1946 at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Uniondale; she preceded him in death May 3, 2011. He graduated from Rockcreek High School in 1943 and was a machinist for Zollner Pistons for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a member of the "Foot Patrol" in the Mizpah Shrine and also Bluffton Lodge 145 F & AM. Survivors include a daughter, Nicki (Paul) Mills of Bluffton; three sons, Gary (Kathy) Lesh of Pleasant Lake, Neil (Cheryl) Lesh of South Bend, and Perry (Susan) Lesh of Berne; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray (Roberta) Lesh of Bluffton; and a sister, Ruth Fisher of New Haven. He was preceded in death by siblings, Gerald and Dale Lesh, and Helen Decker. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bryson G. Bell officiating. Calling hours are 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 27, at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
