Grace Napier, 85, of Bluffton, passed away Sunday morning, November 23, 2014, at Signature Health Care in Bluffton. Born in Harlan County, KY, on May 28, 1929, to John and Ludie (Wynn) Vaughn, she married Dillard Napier in Harlan County on October 4, 1947; he preceded her in death on October 28, 1995. Grace was a member of the United Baptist Church in Muncie, IN, and was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Colleen (Harry) Lane of Bluffton; one son, Ben (Dawsie) Napier of Bluffton; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren; and a sister, Freeda Joy of Ohio. Aside from her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by five brothers, Howard, Truman, Otis, Bill, and Dallas Vaughn; and five sisters, Ola Mae Hill, Margie Fay, Noel Vaughn, Ozella Vaughn, and Velma Vaughn. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Services will be held Wednesday, at 10:30 A.M., at the funeral home, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Fred Lucabaugh will be officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton. Memorial contributions can be given to the donor's choice.
