Gloria J. Bell, 61, of Berne, passed away Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at her residence. She was born Sept. 1, 1952, in Lynwood, Calif., to Wayne L. and Sophia T. Goelz Maller. She married Allen L. Bell June 18, 1977, in Bluffton; he preceded her in death July 11, 2010. She graduated from Bluffton High School and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Berne. She worked at Kitco for 33 years until its closing. She was a loving mother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading her Bible and also enjoyed her church family. Survivors include two daughters, Trina M. (Brian) Fornwalt of Bluffton and Traci J. Bell of Berne; two grandchildren, LeeAnn McNeal and Corbin Fornwalt; a sister, Carol A. Ford of Decatur and Steven A. (Deborah) Maller of Thornville, Ohio. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Pastor Travis Combest officiating. Calling hours are 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at the funeral home and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
