Frank E. Wolfe, 73, Bluffton, died at 9:22 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Wolfe was born Jan. 24, 1936, in Monroe, Mich., to Gerald F. and Mary Margaret Hagen Wolfe. He was an electrician with Local 305 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Fort Wayne, retiring after 27 years of service. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1953 to 1957. Mr. Wolfe was a member of American Legion Post 111 of Bluffton. Survivors include two sons, Rick (Lori) Wolfe and Randy (Brenda) Wolfe, both of Bluffton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marsha Terhune and Carol Stiltner, both of Bluffton. He is also survived by his first wife, Mary Anthony of Bluffton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kaye Wolfe; and three sisters, Rose Baller, Betty Grodi, and Geraldine Wolfe. Calling will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Ed Johnson officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the funeral home following the funeral by members of American Legion Post 111. Burial will be at a later date. Preferred memorials are to the Bluffton-Wells County Animal Shelter or the Wells County Humane Society.
