Floyd A. Meyers, 88, of Berne, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Floyd was born April 27, 1926, in Summerset, Pa., to Albert Clayton Meyers and Annie Mae Arnold Meyers. He married Marlene W. Meyers in Winchester, Va., July 13, 1984; she preceded him in death Jan. 20, 2005. He is a retired truck driver and was a member of the Masonic Lodge Bluffton 145. Survivors include a son, Ronald (Nancy) Meyers of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; stepdaughters, Anita (Steve) Carr of Bluffton, Kimberly Hardgrove of Bluffton, and Jody (George) Banter of Rome City, and Michelle Alvarez of Fort Wayne; stepsons, Robert Hardgrove Jr. of Bluffton, Brad (Tonya) Bryant of Bluffton, and Tim Bryant of Bluffton; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Toth and Margaret Kram, and a son, Robert D. Meyers in 1984. A service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steven Spencer officiating.
