Eunice A. Fiechter, 83, of rural Craigville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 15, 2015, at her residence.

Born on November 3, 1932, in Milford, IN, to Ezra and Luella (Haab) Beer, Eunice married Gerald "Shorty" Fiechter in Milford on April 1, 1956; he preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 2011.

Eunice was a graduate from Milford High School and was a dedicated homemaker and farm wife.  She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church and aside from spending time with her family and friends, she also enjoyed her sewing group at church.

Eunice is survived by two sons, Mike (Shari) Fiechter of Ossian and Doug (Jill) Fiechter of Bluffton; a daughter, Teresa (Todd) Earney of Rensselaer; 11 grandchildren, Kristen (Nick) Hoerr, Amy (Jon) Gerst, Chad (Christen) Fiechter, Jay (Lynnae) Fiechter, Jeff Fiechter, Tyler (Michelle) Earney, Trent Earney, Janel (Blare) Gerber, Travis (Alyssa) Fiechter, Brent Fiechter, and Shane (Kaitlin) Fiechter; and 13 great-grandchildren, Jada, Adia, Ava, Blake, Brooke, Brayden, Madison, Reid, Cole, Jaycee, Clay, Brock, and Emmy.  She is also survived by a sister, Kathryn Emch of Archbold, OH; and two brothers, Carlton "Cap" (MaryAnn) Beer and Jesse "Bud" (Shirley) Beer, both of Milford.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eunice was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Maurice Beer, and a sister, Viola Leman.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, from 1:00 until 8:00 PM at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton.  Services will be held Friday morning, at 10:30 AM, at the Apostolic Christian Church East, with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.  Ron Kipfer and John Reinhard will officiate.  Burial will be at Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
