Eugene W. "Geno" Glover, 71, of Ossian, died at 5:10 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mr. Glover was born in Edgley, N.D. on May 4, 1940, to Stephen and Marie (McDougal) Glover. He married Glenda Faye Courtios in Bluffton on March 28, 1992; she survives. Mr. Glover attended Merrill High School in Wisconsin and served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961. He was the founder and former owner of Nesco Sales; he founded the company in 1991 and retired in 1995. He was a member of American Legion Post 507 in Ridgeville. Other surviving relatives include two daughters, BetsyChase and Dawn Walton, both of Ossian; one step daughter, Jennifer Jordan of Fort Wayne; two step sons, Douglas Johnson of Ossian and Frankie (Sarah) Johnson of Warren; one sister, Liz (Bob) Procknow of Waunakee, Wis.;three brothers, Frances (Bertha) Marquardt of Newton, Kan., Mike (Sharon) Kleinschmidt of Merrill, Wis. and John (Debbie) Kleinschmidt of Neenah, Wis.; one foster brother, Donald (Joan) Shuckhart of Florida; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Glover was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Deutsch, in 2002; and three grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Military honors will be performed by American Legion Post 507 and the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Preferred memorials are to the American Legion Post 507 in Ridgeville.
