Obituary

Enoch John Mock, 68, of Bluffton, passed away Monday evening, June 13, 2016, at the VA Northern Indiana Hospital in Marion, IN.

John was born in Colon, Panama, on Sept. 14, 1947, to Donald and Petra (Gonzalez) Mock.  He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a welder at the Fruehauf Trailer Corporation until his retirement.  He enjoyed traveling, especially to the country of Panama.

John is survived by two sons, Mario Mock of North Pole, AK, and Monty (Samantha) Mock of Carlinville, IL; four grandchildren, Brittany (Alex) Dunn, Alexander Mock, Christopher Mock, and Samuel Mock, all of Carlinville, IL; and three great-grandchildren, Addison, Kinley, and Oliver Dunn, all of Carlinville, IL.  John is also survived by two sisters, Anita Carroll and Jenny Mae Eckelbarger, both of Bluffton; one brother, Charles (Patricia) Mock of Bluffton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Mock.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Bluffton American Legion Post 111 in conjunction with the
United States Marine Corps Honor Guard.
