Elizabeth Salyers, 71, Bluffton, died Sunday evening, Feb. 28, 2010, at the Meadowvale Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bluffton. Mrs. Salyers was born on April 23, 2010 in Harveyton, Ky. to William M. and Lena (Daniels) Combs. She married Amos L. Salyers in Hazard, Ky. on May 26, 1956; her husband survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Sherry Salyers of Ossian and Tracy Salyers of Chicago, and four sisters, Vesta Fugate of Hazard, Ky., Hester Pontius of Arizona, Ollie (Robert) Engle of West Carollton, Ohio and Margret Shephard of Bluffton. Mrs. Salyers was preceded in death by four brothers, Samuel, Hiram, Quentin and Arlan Combs. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
