Edward "Ed" Gomaras Jr, 56, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday morning, May 13, 2017, at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne.

Ed was born in New York City on Sept. 9, 1960; his parents, Ronald Wilson and Barbara (Kellogg) Wilson, both preceded him in death.

For many years, Ed worked in maintenance at a local mobile home park.  He had a green thumb, and enjoyed helping others with different project, especially planting gardens.  He was a member of the Order of the Moose Lodge 242 in Bluffton.

Survivors include two sisters, Doris (Kenneth) McCune of Markle, and Oma Shuttleworth of Bluffton; two brothers, Michael and Tom Gomaras, both of Indianapolis; along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome to gather from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with a memorial service beginning at 4:00 P.M.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton at a later date.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
