Obituary

Edna M. Stinson, 94, of Bluffton, passed away at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Christian Care Retirement Community. Born in Wells County on May 21, 1918 to Hugh R. and Mary G. (Hedges) King, she married Roger Stinson on March 1, 1942 in Keystone; he died May 2, 1979. A 1936 graduate of Liberty Center High School, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Six Mile Christian Church and the Farm Bureau. Survivors include two sons, Dorrance (Dorothy) Stinson and Bruce (Kate) Stinson, both of Bluffton; a brother, Jerry (Darlene) King of Bluffton; four grandchildren, Jena M. Stinson, Matthew L. (Cindy) Markley, Gregory L. Markley and Roy "Skip" (Tina) Stinson; and four great-grandchildren, Caroline Markley, Josh Markley, and Leah and Kendra Stinson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Fred H. King. Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jerry O'Neal officiating. Calling hours there are Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Six Mile Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Six Mile Christian Church or Calvary Lutheran Church.
