Dula M. Heyerly, 93, of Bluffton, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at Christian Care Retirement Community.
She was born Sept. 17, 1924, in Adams County to Albert Heyerly and Aldine Aschliman Heyerly.
She worked at Heyerly's Bakery for 50 years as a cake decorator. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
Dula enjoyed playing the piano and guitar and loved to sing with the family. She enjoyed planting the garden with her sister Rosella and canning produce.
Survivors include a sister, Rosella Heyerly of Bluffton; and a brother, Simon "Pete" (Delores) Heyerly of Bluffton.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Luster, Clifford, Herman, Ray and Homer Heyerly; and five sisters, Jeanette Tonner, Bernice Maller, Alice Gerber, Ada Gerber and Gladys Gerber.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the Apostolic Christian Church East, with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Troy Leyse an Lynn Fiechter will officiate services.
Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
