Doyle L. Harnish, 78, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at his residence. Born in Murray, IN, on December 22, 1936, to John W. and Rozada (Hough) Harnish, he married Joannie Taylor in Scottsdale, AZ, on July 23, 1983; she survives. Doyle attended Lancaster High School and later served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1958. He was a member of the American Legion. Aside from his wife, Doyle is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Mulero, of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico; two grandsons, Jose Mulero and Jeffery Harnish, two granddaughters, Jennifer Betancourt and Ashley Harnish, and one great-granddaughter, Sophia Betancourt. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; along with a son, Jeffery Harnish; a brother, Darrell Harnish; and a sister, Janice Kirkman. A graveside service for Doyle will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at St. Paul Cemetery in Rockcreek Township. Military graveside rites will be provided by the American Legion Post 111 of Bluffton in conjunction with the United States Army Honor Guard.
