Donald R. O'Bryant, 78, Bluffton, died at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Mr. O'Bryant was born April 19, 1931, in Mishawaka, to Joseph and Garnet Johnston O'Bryant. He married Margaret Littlefield Aug. 6, 1981, in Durant, Okla; his wife survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kerry O'Bryant of Bluffton and Hellen (Chad) LeMaster of Richwood, Ohio; a brother, Lester (Marie) O'Bryant, Elkhart; and a sister, Thelma Frisner of Winter Springs, Fla. A brother, Floyd O'Bryant, and a sister, Betty McArthy, preceded him in death. There will be no viewing or services. Cremation is planned with burial to follow at a later date.
