Diana L. Addington, 60, of rural Wells County, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 15, 2014, at her residence. Diana was born Feb. 2, 1954, in Wells County to Harold J. Surbaugh and Elizabeth Ann Heffelfinger Surbaugh; they survive in Wells County. She married George L. Addington Jr. April 15, 1978, in Liberty Center; he survives. Diana graduated from Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, Az., and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, swimming, raising ducks on the farm, riding her golf cart, helping with the baby calves and riding her motorcycle. Her musical talents were playing the harmonica, trumpet, piano and banjo. She loved to cook and bake for her family. In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include two daughters, Mindy M. (Rick) Addington-Twigg of Bluffton, and Sharlene L. Addington of Rural Wells County; two brothers, Thomas (Shirley) Surbaugh and Doug Surbaugh, both of Wells County. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terri Wernst officiating. Calling is from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Monday, Oct. 20. Burial will be at Alberson Cemetery.
