Delores Darlene Archbold, 82, of Ossian, died at 7:50 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2012, at the Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Feb. 8, 1930, in Pinewood, Minn., to Alfred and Florence (Anderson) White. She was a retired waitress, and worked for many years at Welco Travel Plaza in Walkerton. She enjoyed playing bingo, riverboat gambling, and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving relatives include two daughters, Jeri (Fred) Lucabaugh of Bluffton and Kim Barnes of Villa Rica, Georgia; one son, Calvin (Hope) Archbold of Fort Wayne; one brother, Elvin (Janice) White of Walkerton; and five grandchildren, Blake King, Tera Masterson, Haley Archbold, Kobie Lucabaugh and Corey Lucabaugh; and three great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. Mrs. Archbold was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer White, Alfred White, Dale White and James White; and six sisters, Ella Nusbaum, Juanita Manges, Vivian Marks, Evelyn Bennitt, Jean Dominiack and Joyce Dominiack. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Elm Grove Cemetery with Fred Lucabaugh officiating. Preferred memorials are to the Ossian Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
