Delbert J. Lee, 75, of Bluffton,died at 9:07 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mr. Lee worked for 30 years as a newspaper bulk hauler for Fort Wayne Newspapers. He retired in 1990. His hobbies included woodworking, building clocks, and coin collecting. He was a NASCAR fan. He attended the Life Community Church. Mr. Lee was born Feb. 26, 1935,in Morgantown, Ky., to Roscoe Lee and Agnes Renfro Lee. He married Cheryl A. Lydy June 10, 1983, in Decatur; his wife survives. Also surviving are four sons, Rick T. Lee of Bluffton, Delbert J. "Jim" Lee Jr. of Oceanside, Calif., Bret T. (Raina) Ramsey of Berne, and Ryan K. (Mandy) Ramsey of Bluffton; a daughter, Mrs. Sarah (Adam) Mosure of Bluffton; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Dalton Lee of Fort Wayne and Thomas (Mary) Lee of Indianapolis; and a sister, Lydia (Gene) Lewandowski of Fort Wayne. Two brothers, Chester Lee and Vernon Lee, preceded him in death. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel, where services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday with Larry Sprinkle officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery at a later date. Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
