Deborah J. Reinhard, 62, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday evening, June 5, 2014, at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Born in Bluffton on November 26, 1951, to Robert L. and Mary Eileen (McGough) Betz; her mother survives in Bluffton. She married Rod W. Reinhard in Bluffton on August 7, 1987; he survives. Deb was an elementary school teacher for 40 years, spending 38 of those years teaching various grades at Southern Wells Elementary School. She was a 1970 graduate of Bluffton High School and later graduated from Huntington College in 1974. Deb was a member of the Park United Brethren Church in Bluffton, where she was very active with the church choir, along with teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, and devoted her entire life to teaching others. She will be remembered for always having a smile on her face and for being a great encourager and prayer warrior. She was also a past member of the Delta Kappa Gamma society. Additional survivors include two daughters, Julie (Bryan) Drummond and Danielle (Brent) Archbold, both of Bluffton; one son, Nathanael Reinhard of Bluffton; six grandchildren, Rebekah, Abigail, and Elizabeth Drummond, and E.J., Corbin, and Connor Archbold. She is also survived by one sister, Diane (Larry) Owen of Bluffton. Aside from her father, Deb was preceded in death by a brother, Robert L. Betz Jr. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 8th, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. and Monday, June 9th, from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M., all at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Services will be held Tuesday, June 10th, at 10:30 A.M. , at the funeral home, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. The service will be officiated by Pastor John Cole and Pastor Steve Howell. Burial will be at Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.
