David L. Booker, 79, of Geneva , passed away Saturday afternoon, Mar. 27, 2021, at his son's residence in Lebanon , MO.

Dave was born in Wells County on Oct. 6, 1941, to Clarence and Maxine (Smith) Booker.  He married Becky A. Gerber in Craigville on Oct. 14, 1961; she survives him.

Dave was a 1959 graduate of Lancaster Central High School . He was a terminal manager in the trucking industry for many years, working at several different business locations. Later he became an investment broker in Decatur as a second career. Dave attended Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton.

During his retirement years, Dave remained active managing his apartment units and delivering trailers. He enjoyed spending time traveling, boating, watching sports, reading, and mowing lawns. Dave's greatest pride and joy was his family.

Dave is survived by a daughter, Lindy (Troy) Moser of Moyock, NC; two sons, Dave (Cindy) Booker of Fairfield, OH, and Bob (Alma) Booker of Lebanon, MO; eight grandchildren, Rachel (Frank) Ehbrecht, Nick (Lisa) Moser, Matt (Maggie) Moser, Josh (Kennedy) Moser, Alicia (Matt) Booker Guion, Mike (Liz) Booker, Jeff (Sammy) Lacoca, and Chloe Booker; seven great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Joel, Sam, and Lena Ehbrecht, Ivan Moser, and Logan and Hazel Moser; along with a sister, Yvonne (Rich) LaRowe of Michigan.

Aside from his parents, Dave was preceded in death by stillborn twin sons, Ricky and Randy Booker; and a brother, Charles A. Booker.

Visitation will be on Friday, Apr. 16, 2021, from noon until 2:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, followed immediately by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.  Pastor Gary Aupperle will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Adams County . The funeral service will be available to watch live via a Facebook Live link, which will be posted at 2:00 PM on Friday, at the top of this obituary page.

Masks are encouraged but not required for attendance at the visitation and funeral service.
