Clara Faith Rectenwald entered into the Gates of Heaven before entering this world. Clara Faith was stillborn on Oct. 29, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the Parkview Women and Children's Hospital in Fort Wayne. Though Clara Faith never uttered a sound, her life and death were a testimony to the wonderful grace of Jesus Christ. Many people were touched by the incredible faith and trust of her mother and father in the Lord Jesus Christ. Though her life was not "fully" lived, only eternity will reveal the impact she made. Survivors include the parents, James and Mya (Massey) Rectenwald, 6819 Embers Ct., Fort Wayne; siblings (at home) Spencer, 15, Lily, 13, Audrey, 11 and Ethan, 8; grandparents, Walter and Beverly Rectenwald of Fort Wayne; and her great grandmother, Helen Rectenwald of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Frank and Jennie Massey. Clara's parents are members of The Bluffton Wesleyan Chapel and are greatly involved in the children's ministry. Graveside services were held at Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 with Pastor Chad Clark officiating. Goodwin Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to The Bluffton Wesleyan Chapel's children's ministry in honor of Clara Faith.
