Chris "Taco" Killingbeck, 52, of Poneto, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at his residence in Poneto. Chris was born July 20, 1961, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Bill Ginger and Mary R. Killingbeck. He graduated from Southern Wells High School with the Class of 1980. He played basketball and football in high school. He owned K&M Machining tool and die maker, in Bluffton for 15 years. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Bluffton. Chris enjoyed coaching Southern Wells High School track and bowling teams. He was a welding instructor at the high school. Chris loved being outdoors, fishing and hunting, spending time with his family. Survivors include a son, Brandon C. (fiancee Jessica Walker) Killingbeck of Warren; two daughters, Hayle B. Killingbeck of Poneto, and Brandi N. Killingbeck of Warren; four sisters, Monica (Steve) Murphy of Poneto, Melanie (Mark) Mills of Decatur, Jody Tappy of Vellville, Ark., and Lisa Bailey of Bluffton; brothers, Billy Ginger of Poneto, and Doug (Lori) Ginger of Keystone; and a grandson, Kayson Dillon. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Alan Crull officiating. Burial will take place at the Stahl Cemetery in Wells County. Calling hours are from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
