Charles E. "Chuck" Harris, 66, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday evening, Jan. 1, 2022, at Coventry Meadows in Fort Wayne.

Chuck was born in Dayton, OH, on Apr. 13, 1955, to Robert and Dixie (Marts) Harris.  Both parents preceded him in death.

Chuck was a 1973 graduate of Bluffton High School.  After high school, he served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include a daughter, Misty Harris of Huntington; a son, Marcus (Heidi) Harris of Berne; two brothers, Mike (Karen) Harris of Waterloo and Dave Harris of Columbia City; four grandchildren, Seth Harris, D.J. Barton, Reese McZegle, and Ryan McZegle; and his companion, Debra Straley of Bluffton.

A public memorial gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton.

Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
