Charlene Mercer, 69, of Bluffton, passed away Monday morning, May 1, 2017, at her residence.

Born in Obion, TN, on Oct. 9, 1947, to Luther and Clara Tunis Jennings, Charlene married Troy W. Mercer in Ashland, KY, on May 28, 1968; he preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2012.

Survivors include two sons, Dan Ocasio of Warren and Jesse Ocasio of Bluffton; two daughters, Mae (Elza) West of Bluffton and Becky (Miles) Fleming of Bluffton; a brother, Robert Jennings of Lima, OH; a sister, Wanda Poe of Louisa, KY; along with 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Charlene was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Ocasio.

Friends and family are welcome to gather from 10:00 AM until noon on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel.
